Ronald Wilson’s journey is one marked by calling, commitment, and an unwavering passion to transform lives. A native of Wilmington, North Carolina, he stands today as the Founder and Senior Pastor of The Center in Greensboro, North Carolina—where Jesus is The Center of it ALL!.
With more than 25 years in ministry and over 20 years of pastoral leadership, Pastor Wilson’s voice carries both weight and wisdom. But his story is not just about years—it’s about impact. Called into the pastorate in 1998 under the leadership of the late Bishop John W. Barber, he developed a relentless passion for souls and a deep burden to see people live beyond limitation. What sets him apart is not just his calling, but his clarity and practicality: a divine ability to build, structure, and bring excellence into the lives of those he serves.
Pastor Wilson is known as a visionary—one who doesn’t just see what is, but what can be. A gifted communicator and prolific writer, Pastor Wilson is a published author of several great reads. One, in particular, The Dream Team offers powerful insight into the importance of recognizing divine relationships along the journey to destiny, and features a foreword by Bishop Michael A. Blue. Expanding his reach even further, his books 101 Things Your Barber/Stylist Hates (But May Never Tell You) and The Science Beyond the Cut have made waves within the barbering and styling industry, earning recognition at MegaFest 2015 hosted by T. D. Jakes. Pastor Wilson’s latest book, Marketplace Takeover was blessed to receive a foreword by Apostle Mike Freeman, Founder of Faith City Central.
In 2013, he and his wife, Pastor Rachel Wilson, were honored with Honorary Doctorates of Divinity—an affirmation of their spiritual leadership and dedication to service. Pastor Wilson also has a Doctorate of Divinity from New York Bible College, where he currently does seasonal classes. Yet, beyond titles and accolades, Pastor Wilson’s greatest pride is his family. He is a devoted husband and father of four sons, and a man who lives the very principles he teaches. Pastor Wilson is privileged to be ministry partners with the teaching ministry and leadership of Apostle Mike and Dr. DeeDee Freeman.
